Saudi Arabia, alongside Egypt, Pakistan, Jordan and Sudan, are all fighting against the Houthies in Yemen to defend Arabia, and ultimately, Mecca

Sudan, Egypt and Morocco have joined the Saudi Arabia led coalition of 10 Sunni- ruled nations in air strikes against Yemen’s Shiite Houthi rebels. The reason they give? It is to defend Mecca which they believe Iran is after which Iran turned Yemen into a new front in the rivalry between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

All the years that Shoebat.com has been driving at can now be seen in action: Mecca is the Harlot of Babylon which rides the Beast which all these nations are coming to defend.

Sudan said their involvement is to defend Mecca:

The Sudanese army said in a statement (translated by Shoebat):

“Our participation comes out of the Islamic responsibility to protect the land of the Two Holy Mosques, Mecca and Medina our religion and our belief and is why Sudan participated in a strong way for the prevention and for our pride to keep Saudi Arabia safe and stable and our sacred shrines protected.  We will not stand idly by while danger hits the direction of Muslim prayer: Mecca”.

Also, the Moroccan Foreign Ministry showed the reason for the Kingdom’s participation was “in the defense of Saudi Arabia in its place to ward off any ill may affect its territory or touches, from near or from afar, the Haram al-Sharif [forbidden sanctuary, Mecca] or threaten the peace and security in the entire region.”

The Shiite Houthi author and political analyst Yousef Alhadiri said “We will move all of us to Mecca to liberate it.”

THE PROGRESS OF THE BATTLE

In the air assault codenamed “Operation Decisive Storm,” the Sunni coalition deployed some 100 fighter jets, 150,000 soldiers and other navy units, Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV reported. Also involved were aircraft from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan and Egypt, though it was not clear which carried out actual strikes.

And now we have a Sunni coalition, just as we stated years ago will come to pass has formed in defense of its harlot that rides the Muslim world. This war has now drawn a line in the sand and will make firm an alliance for Mecca, while Iran fights to make Karbala its center instead of Mecca.

And the war is escalating to thwart Iranian incrusions with full force. Once the air strikes have weakened the rebels and their allies in the military forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, a ground invasion of Yemen is planned by Egyptian Saudi and other forces.

The assault will come from Saudi Arabia and by landings on Yemen’s coasts along the Red and Arabian seas, according to three Egyptian military and security officials.

Three to five Egyptian troop carriers are stationed offshore, they said, although the number of troops was not specified, and the timing of the operation was not given.

The aim is not to occupy Yemen but to weaken the Houthis and their allies until they enter negotiations for power-sharing, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to talk about the plans with the press.

Egypt is “prepared for participation with naval, air and ground forces if necessary,” Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri said at a gathering of Arab foreign ministers preparing for a weekend summit in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.

Saudi Arabia and fellow Sunni-led allies in the Gulf and the Middle East view the Houthi takeover as an attempt by Iran to establish a proxy on the kingdom’s southern border.

Also, Turkey is not standing idle. Turkey could provide “logistical” support for Saudi Arabia’s operation against Iran-allied Huthi rebels in Yemen, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Thursday, slamming Tehran’s involvement in the region.

“The aim of Iran is to increase its influence in Iraq,” said Erdogan.

“Iran is trying to chase Daesh from the region only to take its place,” he added, using the Arabic acronym for the group.

In the meanwhile, Shi’ite militia leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi warned in his speech stressing that Egypt would regret it joined the war on Yemen:

He said (translated by Shoebat):

“The leadership of Egypt should not to repeat the wrong experience that occurred in the past on the part of Egypt, in Yemen, and the Egyptian people love Yemen do not sell the Egyptian army with little money [from Saudi Arabia]. Remember your values and ethics regime of the Saudi regime does not represent even the Saudi people.”

The Sunni Alliance destroyed more than 20 warplane in possession by the Houthi militia in the first air strikes made by the alliance since the beginning of the attack on Thursday morning. The alliance targeted Dailami air base in Sanaa, which contains the largest share of aviation power held by the Houthi militias. The strikes destroyed a squadron of F-5 fighter-bomber made in the US with the exception of two of the squadron aircraft survived the attack, and search and reconnaissance aircraft of the type “Cessna”. The attacks have also destroyed “Kaka” plane, a military transport plane carrying forty soldiers, and at a cost of fifty million dollars, and an unknown number of helicopters.

THE SHIITES THREATEN THE PROTECTORS OF MECCA

The Houthis are not without sophisticated capabilities, the alliance did have one jet fighter hit and crashed which can be seen on video (courtesy of Mustaqbal TV):

But sources reveal that the special Shiite Houthi military infrastructure of Ansar Allah has not been affected which its forces includes tens of thousands of fighters who were deployed on the entire Yemeni-Saudi border. According to Abdel-Malek al-Houthi head of the Shiite Houthi movement, the response will begin and is expected to be very severe, which may open the door to a wide regional war, that the Saudi side will have serious concerns since he promised a bombardment of rockets will land in the heart of Saudi territory if Saudi Arabia resorted to move warships in the Red Sea. He threatened that Saudi aggression could lead to a cessation of all navigation through the Suez Canal and the Red Sea down to the Gulf of Aden and surrounding region.

EXPLAINING THE RELIGIOUS BATTLE

To the Sunni world, the battle is over the defense of Mecca. When Shiite Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki in 2013 said that the Shiite holy city of Karbala must be the new Qibla (direction to which Muslims pray) instead of Mecca, it stirred anger from Sunnis worldwide. If and when Shiites do away with Mecca as direction of prayer and its significance is undermined, Shiite Iran, united with Shiite Iraq and Yemen which is brewing by the day, will threaten Arabia.

“Karbala must be the Qibla of the Islamic world because Imam Hussein [the Prophet Mohammad’s second grandson, and an important figure in Shia Islam] is buried there,” Maliki said.

To Shia, Karbala supersedes Mecca. In the Shiite faith, there was a feud between the two cities. When Mecca felt haughty and arrogant that Allah warns her, he will toss the Ka’ba in hellfire and will utterly destroy her. This, in accordance to one very popular Shiite belief which utterly terrifies and angers Saudi Arabia:

Once the land of Ka’bah declared proudly, ‘Which land is like me? Allah has made His House on me. People from all parts of the earth come to pay homage to me. I have been made sacrosanct (haram) and sacred by Allah.’ On hearing this Allah, revealed, ‘Be silent! Wait a little (before you say anything further). By My Might and My Honour, the excellence and distinction I have granted tothe land of Karbala is more than what I have given you. Compared to Karbala, your position is like a needle head sized drop in front of the sea. If the dust of Karbala had not been there, I would never have bestowed this honour upon you. If the one resting in Karbala (Imam Husain (a.s.)) had not been there, I would neither have created you nor the House over which you are so haughty. Wait, adopt humility and modesty and don’t be arrogant and boastful. Don’t try to prevail over Karbala in importance (as that is not possible). Else I will be displeased with you and throw you in Hell.’ (Kaamil al-Ziarat, p.267, tradition 13, narrating from Imam Ja’far al-Al-Sadiq also see here)

Karbala, not Mecca, is Iran’s holiest place. It was in it that al-Ḥusayn ibn ‘Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib was martyred. To Shiites, he is their Messiah. He is the son of Ali ibn Abi Ṭalib (fourth Rashidun Caliph of Sunni Islam, and first Imam of Shia Islam) and Fatimah Zahra (daughter of the Muhammad). Al-Husayn refused to pledge allegiance to Yazid I, the Umayyad caliph because he considered the rule of the Umayyads unjust. As a consequence, he left Medina, his home town, and traveled to Mecca. There, the people of Kufa sent letters to him, asking his help and pledging their allegiance to him. So he traveled towards Kufa. At Karbala his caravan was intercepted by Yazid I‘s army. He was killed and beheaded in the Battle of Karbala in 680 (61 AH) by Shimr Ibn Thil-Jawshan, along with most of his family and companions. The annual memorial for him, his family, his children and his companions is called Ashura (tenth day of Muharram) and is a day of mourning for Shiite Muslims. The killings at Karbala fueled the later Shiite movements. Anger at Husayn’s death was turned into a rallying cry that helped undermine and ultimately overthrow the Umayyad Caliphate.

But this is not old buried history, on Al-Jazeera, one analyst said the war is between Yazid and Hussein. As it seems, prior to Christ’s coming, the battle will be over religious spheres: Christendom with even Russia revived and involved, the Muslim world and the Jews, all these will culminate at Armageddon.

Welcome to the Bible.

P.S: Please consider the serious issue on Christian persecution which will increase as we see these events unfold. we operate a very effective mission in rescuing fellow Christians.
